#3 Monterey - The Aquarium

Our afternoon activities included Round Table pizza for lunch and the aquarium, the jelly fish were amazing, brightly coloured translucent and some that looked like mushrooms.

One room was oval shaped and had sardines swimming around in tank that lined the perimeter of the circular ceiling, it was amazing.  It makes me want to be an mermaid and use sardines as my form of travel, they could pick you up like a tornado would and just transport you to where you need to go.

The amazing array of colours from the normal everyday fish,

to the weird and out of this world 'fish'

and plants

and of course no trip to the aquarium is complete until you've found that one fish - Nemo.

If you find Nemo you need to say hi the cool turtle's.

Dude!
Aquariums do like to educate us about what we're doing to the ocean and environment, these exhibits are aimed at adults and children, but seeing as children are the future its good to get their input on what we should do to save our planet.

Note that Jesus is crossed out and Allah is inserted.

The aquarium is innovative in allowing you to get up close to the sea life,

and introducing you (in detail) to new species.

With amazing fish, spectacular views out onto the ocean, if your in Monterey make a trip to visit the aquarium.
